Arusha, Ngorongoro and Manyara Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

We will pick you from Arusha airport or Kilimanjaro airport for overnight in your accommodation in Arusha city.

Day 2

Arusha National park

After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park, a 40-minute drive. Explore the montane forest home to blue monkeys and vibrant birds, including the black-and-white colobus monkey. Visit Ngurdoto Crater and the picturesque Momela Lakes, spotting buffalo, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and flamingos. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Arusha- Tarangire National Park

After pickup from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 am, drive 3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting elephants, climbing tree pythons, baobab trees, lions, leopards, and more. Later, drive to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Serengeti Central (Cental Seronera)

After breakfast, pack your luggage and begin an en-route game drive to Serengeti, with lunch inside the jeep. Enjoy views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater before reaching Serengeti by 3 PM. Experience an evening game drive in central Serengeti, watching the sunset. Overnight at Seronera campsite, where you'll witness the wildebeest migration.

Day 5

Central Serengeti to North (Kogatende)

Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and begin your game drive in Serengeti, heading towards northern Serengeti. Visit key areas like the Mara River to witness the wildebeest migration. From July to October, river crossings are frequent, offering excellent game viewing, especially in the northern Serengeti.

Day 6

Serengeti Northern

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in Serengeti, following the wildebeest migration. From June to September, visit northern Serengeti for the famous Mara River crossings. The migration varies annually, with calving from January to March. After a full day of wildlife viewing, return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro national Park

Wake up at 5:45 for breakfast and enjoy the sunrise in Serengeti. After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive until 11:30 am, then return to the campsite for a hot lunch. Post-lunch, continue your game drive through Serengeti while heading to Simba campsite in Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Wake up at 5:30 am for breakfast, then descend into Ngorongoro Crater to see the Big Five, black rhinos, and a variety of birds. Enjoy lunch in the crater surrounded by nature and flamingos. After 6-7 hours of game viewing, ascend and head to the Lodge for dinner and overnight. Experience a village tour afterward.

Day 9

Lake Manyara National Park - Departure

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive. Spot climbing tree lions, flamingos, and visit a hot spring. Later, explore a Maasai boma to learn about their culture and traditions. Afterward, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
